Built in 9 days for the LAGS Game Jam 2026 under the theme "Jack of all trades, master of none," Pegote is a card game inspired by Guerra, a Spanish-deck game based on flipping cards and comparing values, with the higher card winning the round. The twist is a sticker system. Each round, players place stickers on cards that modify their printed values. Winning a round awards cards that go into the player's deck, and as more stickers accumulate, the original card values become buried under layers of modifications. The game runs on macOS and was developed by a team of five: Marc, Porta, Ari, Oni, and jvolonte. The framing includes a narrative undertone suggesting the players cannot leave the table the longer they play. The design targets players interested in short, chaotic card sessions where deck construction interacts with a stacking modifier mechanic.
