Wishlist Parasomnia: No REM and you will know the day it comes out. Description Parasomnia: No REM is a first-person psychological horror game built around sleepwalking, and around what a house becomes while you are asleep inside it. By day the house is abandoned, silent, falling apart. When the protagonist falls asleep, he wakes inside a different version of the same place: one assembled out of childhood memories, buried guilt, and events his mind is not ready to accept. Narrative The protagonist returns to the house of his childhood after ten years. A traumatic incident destroyed his family there and left most of his memories in fragments. Because of his insomnia, he begins a new treatment. The medication brings on sleepwalking episodes, and they grow more intense every night. Key Features TWO STATES, ONE HOUSE Move between being awake and the No REM state, where the real world is fused with the world of dreams. In No REM the colour drains out of everything, and veins spread across the walls: you are inside his mind, and there has been no colour in his life since the trauma. CLOSING YOUR EYES IS THE BRIDGE Close your eyes to connect with your sleepwalking body in the real world and interact with what it can reach.
